France–Tunisia is HeyColis' busiest corridor. Every week, hundreds of people travel from Paris, Lyon, Marseille or Lille to Tunis, Sfax, Monastir or Djerba, by plane or overland via Italy. Many of them travel with half-empty luggage.
HeyColis puts that spare capacity at the service of families. You post what you want to send, carriers on your route quote a price, you pick the one that suits you. You agree the price and the payment terms directly with them, with no platform fee.
How much a shipment costs
On the France–Tunisia corridor, prices observed on the platform generally range from €4 to €8 per kilo by air, and €3 to €5 per kilo by road or sea. Prices rise in July and August and before religious holidays, when demand far exceeds the available luggage allowance.

Transit times
Transit time depends entirely on the carrier's travel date, which you can see before accepting an offer. In practice, a parcel handed to an air carrier leaves within 3 to 10 days and arrives on the day of the flight. By ferry from Marseille or Genoa, allow 7 to 14 days door to door. If your shipment is urgent, filter trips by departure date.
Customs and formalities
Tunisia allows personal effects and gifts to enter duty-free, within a reasonable value and for strictly personal use. Above that, duties and taxes may be charged on arrival, particularly for new electronics, phones and appliances.
Always declare the real value of the contents in the app: it is the reference point in any dispute over the condition of the parcel, and it also protects the carrier during an inspection. New goods in quantity, intended for resale, are not accepted on the platform.
Dry, factory-sealed food products pass without difficulty. Fresh produce, meat and dairy are restricted. Medicines must be accompanied by a prescription in the recipient's name.
